We hold 1 refresher course per month. 1 day course.

• Must have valid CDL (or) Valid DL & CLP.

• Must be eligible for Testing Exemption* (if holding CLP).

• Have none of the following restrictions

  • L - No Air Brakes Restriction

  • Z - Hydraulic Brakes Only Restriction

  • E - Automatic Only Restriction

  • O - Fifth Wheel/Tractor-Trailer Restriction

We do not train on automatic transmissions - to upgrade, please see the Class A CDL Training Course description.

*Testing Exemption: In the state of Indiana, if you have previous held a CDL, you may qualify for a testing exemption, where you would be able to take the state CDL exam without having to go through a CDL Training Program. To learn if you qualify for a CDL exemption, you must obtain your CLP, and submit it to a state CDL examination site. The state CDL examination site will then check the driver's eligibility to test. If confirmed to be eligible, the state CDL examination site will then allow the driver to book their state CDL exam. If the driver is not eligible for a testing exemption, this means that the driver must go through an approved CDL Training Program, like our Class A CDL Training.

We will allow you to complete a full test, even if you demonstrate failures, so you know exactly what you would need to work on prior to testing. A mock test must be completed to see if you qualify for a refresher course with us.

The focus of the expedited course is to fine tune the skills you already have in order to help you pass the state CDL exam without having to sit through 4 weeks and beginner skills lessons. Offered in manual 10 speed transmission or automatic transmission. Max 1 person per class, M-F 8am-4:30pm. Classes will be separate from the full-time and part-time courses, trained by a separate instructor in a separate truck. Scheduling is based on availability of trucks and instructors, as well as testing availability.

• Must have valid CLP

  • Must have held it a minimum of 2 weeks prior to starting class

• Must have valid DOT physical & DOT drug screen (dated within last 30 days)

• Must have prior driving & backing experience in a Class A CMV

• Will have to complete ELDT theory online prior to start date

  • Theory is included in tuition, but must be completed prior to entering the truck.

There are no tuition assistance options for the expedited course. No refunds/reimbursements. Spots are first come, first serve and are based on schedule availability No class will be scheduled without payment in full.

Get your certificate as soon as you finish the course.
Must be completed prior to going to BMV/DMV for testing.

Will help complete Hazmat fingerprint application and schedule fingerprinting appointment.

Not available for Washington CDL holders.
